Local stock is enhanced by a central facility which carries over 10,000 tonnes of material in 200,000 sqft of warehouse space, all of which is available on a daily basis to each of the company’s service centres throughout the UK.

Focused on the requirements of customers, a significant investment has been made in fabrication and processing facilities, allowing Blackburns to supply material closer to final form, providing the option of bespoke sizes and finishes previously unavailable, creating a real option for a one-stop shop.

Blackburns Processing is the UK approved processor and distributor for 55HX®, a material developed to fulfil specifier’s demands for a high quality, high performance aluminium for interior and exterior applications.

55HX® composition and surface quality ensure it is especially suitable for decorative anodisation, with a large array of processing options and finishes it provides architects and designers with additional creative freedom. 55HX® aluminium is the ideal choice for facades, cladding, ceilings, walls and showcase designs and is available in a range of forms, sizes and gauges.

In addition to stock sheet sizes Blackburns can also process any size within its standard capabilities from the master coil stock which is kept in 1000mm, 1250mm and 1500mm widths.
