The Vent Engineering Ventec Ostro ® 140° opening roof ventilator has been designed with the primary function of evacuating smoke. It can be used in most building types as a head of the smoke shaft or stair to extract smoke from common corridors, stairs or lobbies’.
This is to create a safe escape for the occupants and a smoke free area for access by fire fighters. EN12101-2 requires that a single leaf opening roof ventilator should open to at least 140° to reduce the chance of a negative discharge occurring due to wind pressure.
Features:
Vent Engineering’s Ventec Ostro 140° is available with a variety of lid options, including polycarbonate, acrylic and aluminium. The standard Ventec Ostro 140° comes in 1100 x 1100 size which are in stock ready for next day delivery. Bespoke sizes are made to order.
The Ventec Ostro 140° is fitted with a 24v actuator and has a range of smoke and natural control panels available on request.
