A self-adhesive membrane, W110 Acoustic Wrap forms an instant bond around plastic rainwater and soil pipes. This means there is no need for extra banding, making it up to 20% faster to install than traditional acoustic insulation products.

Consisting of an acoustic layer laminated between two layers of high-performance pressure-sensitive butyl and finished with an aluminium face, the wrap is just 4.5mm thick. This allows for more flexibility in tight spaces where traditional insulation is often too unwieldy.

Ease of handling is another major advantage. Lightweight and compact, W110 Acoustic Wrap reduces the physical strain on installers who have to carry a range of products and equipment around site all day.

Additionally, the product is EN 13501-1: E / E_FL / E_L fire-rated when installed as per the fire test, and acoustic-tested in accordance with BS EN ISO 10140-2, with a weighted sound reduction index of up to 25dB (dependent on system design and assembly). The butyl adhesive also forms a barrier to contain any potential moisture build-up.
