Come and see the Ravago Building Solutions UK team at stand C59 on the Green Roof Organisation (GRO) pavilion. We’re excited to see the very best of what Futurebuild has to offer, including some of the highest quality sustainable construction products in the industry – and that’s just our stand!

We’ll be using Futurebuild to showcase our high-performance Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL thermal insulation product, which is designed for inverted flat roofs - offering architects and specifiers the thinnest XPS insulation with a design lambda of 0.028 and declared lambda 0.027 W/mK for the whole thickness range from 80 to 205mm.

Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL has seen numerous applications across a broad range of projects. Flat roof specialists Quantum Insulation supplied Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL to Howgate Close, a sustainable, eco-efficient housing estate located in Nottinghamshire - based on ‘The Autonomous House’ philosophy. By combining double layers of Ravago’s Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL insulation and triple glazing with three earth covered walls and roof, the nine highly efficient homes achieve SAP ratings that place in the top 0.01% of the UK’s 14 million registered Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).

A £50 million development of luxury residences in Mayfair, London, 22 Hanover Square used 1200m² of Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL, again selected by Quantum Insulation, keeping in mind that leading roofing company BriggsAmasco needed to attain a U-value of 0.12 – a requirement easily met by Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL.

177 Bothwell Street is the largest new office building and sustainable development in central Glasgow and another key project to have reaped the benefits of Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL. The facility boasts touchless entry, an 8,000 sq. ft roof terrace, a 150-metre rooftop running track, 4 activity zones/terrace spaces and panoramic views. An office of the future required a futureproof insulation solution, which is why Ravago recommended the specification of the ultra-thin Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL for this project, which was undertaken with the support and expertise of our partners at Alumasc Roofing.
