Rainscreen Systems – CWCT tested

Eltherington architectural has been manufacturing façade systems for over 60 years. One of our latest projects is Brunel Street Works adjacent to Canning Town station in London.

Our Through Fix (TFS1) and Castellated (CS) CWCT tested systems where specified using A1 pre-painted Aluminium RAL 7022.

Through Fix - TFS1

For facades where an element of adjustment is required an Eltherington through-fix rainscreen cladding system is the best choice. Our through fix system offers an adjustable void depth and is therefore able to accommodate a range of insulation thicknesses, whilst overcoming any irregularities in the substrate.

That makes the rainscreen cladding solution ideal where the variances in quality of infill material on existing buildings dictate that fixings can only be secured at certain points across the facade, for example, at floor slabs.

Eltherington through-fix systems are designed so that the fixings are minimally visible across the facade, being masked by the shadow-lines between the panels. Our Castellation System is a completely new rainscreen cladding system offering unlimited castellated design options. If you are looking for a facade to be both unique and striking, this new system brings a building to life with the peace of mind and assurance of being fully tested to the latest rainscreen performance standards. When it comes to choice; it is available in a range of options including Narrow, Wide, Varied and Step profiles with a variety of materials from Polyester Powder Coating, Pre-Paint, Anodised, Corten & Rimex. We can achieve either an A1 or A2 fire rating (EN13501-1) as required.

All our rainscreen systems have been independently tested and accredited to the specific requirements of CWCT along with technical and engineering support from Hilti, our preferred supplier - with solutions for both horizontal and vertical applications, our systems include all fixings, fastenings, and support structures, as well as nationwide on-site support from the Hilti Building Envelope Specialists and Engineering team.

Our state-of-the-art production facility allows us to take on board specialist architectural metal work projects of any scale.
