New clay tile option for specifier

Leading roof systems manufacturer, Marley, has expanded its Acme Single Camber clay plain tile range – with the addition of a new Acme Weathered colour option.

With a fine sanded finish, Acme Weathered is designed to replicate the timeless character of ageing clay tiles, offering a unique aesthetic for specifiers looking to elevate the finished look of their projects.

The new tiles are manufactured using advanced firing and sanding techniques, which deliver natural variations in texture and colour to mimic the subtle, weathered look of traditional clay roofs. The process also applies precision engineering to ensure consistency in size and shape, enhancing the overall roof aesthetic, while also making installation straightforward.

Made from the premium Staffordshire Etruria Marl natural clay, the tiles offer a strong, durable and long-lasting roofing solution for specifiers.

Acme Weathered is also complemented by a full-suite of compatible fittings, offering a complete roofing solution for specifiers working on new build and re-roof projects required to blend seamlessly with existing roofs in the local area.

All-new heritage roofing range

Acme Weathered joins Marley’s new Acme Single Camber Heritage range – alongside the manufacturer’s Ashurst and Aylesham Mix colourways.

The new Acme Heritage range is ideal for projects in conservation areas, or areas where heritage aesthetics are a priority, offering increased choice to help specifiers meet specific planning requirements.

Supporting sustainability requirements

Alongside Marley’s entire Acme Single Camber range, the new Acme Weathered tiles are accredited to the BES 6001 Framework Standard for Responsible Sourcing, which provides environmental reassurance for specifiers. This also means projects using the tiles can get additional credits under BREEAM.

Marley also offers Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) across its entire clay and concrete tile ranges, together with its solar PV solution, SolarTile®.
