“De Stadswinkel” in Tilburg, once an unremarkable city office, has undergone a stunning transformation and is now a beacon of sustainability and circular design. The exterior, formerly a beige monolith, now boasts a visually striking wooden façade composed of 90,000 screwed slats of varying thicknesses. This circular exterior, paired with sleek lacquered wooden frames and curtain walls, elevates the building into a contemporary icon.

At the heart of the interior transformation is Hunter Douglas Architectural’s HeartFelt® Linear. Spanning three floors and covering an impressive 2,840m2, these linear panels contribute not only to aesthetics – with eye-catching patterns being created by alternating the linear panels with different heights – but also to the sustainable acoustics.
