Howells Glazing are experts in bespoke glazed roof design and manufacture, whether this is for a domestic application or for a commercial project. Having been established for over 40 years, Howells are fully versed in all aspects of glazing from traditional to modern, specialising in high performance attractive rooflight systems. They have a combined knowledge of over 100 years in design and manufacturing and offer full AutoCAD drawings and 3D graphic models .

Their work has been displayed on the popular Grand Designs TV programme. They can take the client’s vision and custom make a one off bespoke designs.

There are many different types of glazed roofs available, ranging from single pitch, double pitch, gable ended, octagon, pyramid and many other bespoke types of applications.

These roofs have been fitted in many different locations, from Theme parks, Shopping centres, Public Houses, Swimming pool covers through to kitchen extensions.

There are so many different variations and options to choose from being either fixed (unvented), through to dual colour (inside one colour and a different one outside), electronic or wind gear opening lights, trickle ventilation or smoke ventilation etc

They utilise the new technologies, thermal properties of glass and thermally broken aluminium glazing bars to achieve previously unheard of low U value of 0.7 w/m2).

The HPG system also comes certified with water tightness and smoke testing for that extra reassurance.

Their rooflights are made to a specific size with pitches ranging from 15 to 45 degrees (30 degrees is their standard),these rooflights can accommodate a multitude of glazing options from 24mm double glazed to 50mm triple glazed units.

They are manufactured in their state of the art BS EN ISO 9001:2000 quality approved factory by their fully trained, motivated craftsmen, using their own in-house cutting, welding and fabrication facilities. Our Rooflights have been weather tightness tested to BS 6375 part1, with a snow and perm loading to EN14351. RISQS Verified.

All their systems are designed and manufactured by them, giving the customer peace of mind that they are dealing direct and not through a franchiser.
