Hauraton extended their RECYFIX® SLOTTED channel range

Hauraton have further extended their popular RECYFIX® SLOTTED channel range with the introduction of more channel sizes and a new asymmetric twin slot cover. The range is intended for the surface drainage of pavements or public squares in city/ town centres, shopping malls and the like.

The RECYFIX® channel unit is made the company’s tough, virtually unbreakable polypropylene (PP) whilst the slotted components are manufactured from 1.5mm galvanised steel or alternatively, stainless steel.

The RECYFIX® 100 and 150 nominal sized channels have now been joined by a new 200 size with a drainage cross section of up to 366 cm2. The 100 channel units are now available in four heights, 60, 80, 135 and 185mm. These channels can be fitted with single slot symmetric or asymmetric covers, or the new asymmetric twin slot covers. The twin slot cover is particularly useful for installation around children’s “splash” areas, fountain features and at the bottom of sloping pavements. The 150 channel unit is 188mm high and available with single slot symmetric or asymmetric covers. The new 200 channel units are either 185mm or 285mm high and also available with single slot symmetric or asymmetric covers. All SLOTTED components are offered as standard, in either galvanised steel or stainless steel with a neck height of 105mm making them suitable for use with paving slabs used in the UK. Other neck heights can be manufactured for orders of 30 metres or more.

The RECYFIX® SLOTTED channel system includes moulded end caps and access covers that can

2 be fitted on top of the channels or on the trash boxes located within or at the end of a channel run.
