Contractors and clients can get overnight delivery UK-wide on 62 sizes of Em-Vent smoke vents, 23 sizes of Em-Hatch access hatches and 18 differently sized Es-Hatch industrial roof hatches.

While CE EN12101-2 certification is compulsory, non-compliant smoke vents can still be found. So it’s essential when specifying to source smoke vents certified as a complete unit – not just built from CE-marked components.

The CE EN12101-2-certified Em-Vent is non-fragile, impact-resistant to CE EN1873 1200 joules and offers rapid smoke and heat exhaust, opening 160° inside 60 seconds.

It can be combined with the Em-Hatch or Es-Hatch for roof escape or access, and a range of approved ladders, anchor points and hand-up posts ensure safe use. To make installation easy, contractors can choose adaptors for their own upstands or specify purpose-designed upstands from stock.
