Excellent performance LAMILUX atrium glass roof installed at Cremer Business Centre.

LAMILUX designed, supplied and installed the 5° continuous atrium rooflight at Cremer Business Centre using the LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60. The remarkable 4055mm wide span x 65m long rooflight was designed using 64 panes, with the largest glass panel measuring 932.5 x 2851mm’s and weighing approx. 107Kg’s. By integrating glazed double flap EN12101-2 compliant SHEV smoke vents using tandem opening devices the glazed roof provides 25m² aerodynamic free area. Featuring toughened high performance selective coating, the atrium rooflight offers excellent performance values as expected by LAMILUX.

The LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60 features virtually free shaping for atrium glass roof designs from pitches as low as 3° - making it possible to implement more or less any aesthetically pleasing and technically complex daylight construction.

The LAMILUX atria glazing systems offer trademark features including an attractive design and architectural charm, coupled with the highest level of airtightness and excellent heat-insulation values. Alongside this, the LAMILUX Glass roof PR60 boasts exceptionally watertight properties, which guarantees no leaks in extremely high winds & driving rain, and effective soundproofing, which reduces the impact of unwanted noise to the interior. As standard the thermal engineering means it features excellent U-values, moreover, it is also available in a Passivehaus certified version.

The new LAMILUX ventilation flap embeds almost invisibly into the glass roof surface. It is therefore not only possible to integrate it into the LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60, but also in all other mullion-and-transom systems available on the market for flat roofs.
