Convenience, style and efficiency on tap with Longdon

Incorporating hot water taps in new kitchen builds is a strategic move for builders aiming to differentiate their designs and meet the growing demand for convenience and style in modern homes. As hot water and filter taps shift from being a passing trend to a lifestyle necessity, they offer a practical and aesthetic upgrade that appeals to discerning homeowners. These taps not only provide immediate access to boiling water, enhancing kitchen efficiency, but also contribute to a sleek, contemporary look that can elevate the overall appeal of a kitchen space.

Clearwater’s new Longdon tap is a case in point. A classically styled tap that is packed with the latest technology, Longdon hides some very smart tech behind its softly sculptured exterior. Its 4 in 1 technology is controlled by two elegant ceramic levers, ready to dispense 98° hot and cold filtered water for drinks and cooking, as well as a standard domestic hot/cold supply.

The curvy aesthetic of the Longdon allows this versatile tap to be at home in both modern and traditional settings, and its ceramic levers make a perfect alliance with fireclay sinks.

Available in three PVD finishes — Brushed Nickel, Brushed Brass, and Brushed Nickel — along with Chrome, Longdon is the ideal choice for the busy family kitchen. It features 2-Stage Child Safe operation and a cool touch spout.

Ensuring that cold and hot drinks are great-tasting when prepared with Longdon, the tap also features advanced filtration that protects the boiler from limescale formation, removes contaminants, and improves the taste and odour of the water.

The tap is designed for use with Clearwater’s Digital Thermostatic Boiler, a compact unit with a generous 2.4 litre capacity, capable of providing 60 cups of instant kettle hot water per hour. Installation of the boiler is simple, with no specialist fittings required, and it offers straightforward operation thanks to state-of-the-art digital controls and 10 temperature settings.

For great-tasting filtered water on tap, Longdon comes with a filter cartridge that has a 6-month lifespan and a capacity of 3,800 litres.

Longdon is available with an useful matching hand spray, making this tap an all-around multi-tasker.

The Pull-Out Spray is an incredibly useful tool for all manner of jobs, from rinsing off crockery prior to the dishwasher, rinsing vegetables and salads, to cleaning down the sink. It proves particularly valuable when partnered with non-pull out and professional taps where a directable flow is needed.

There are two flow types at cold mains pressure: aerated, ideal for vessel filling and gentle rinsing of delicate food, and needle-jet, which can be used for rinsing crockery prior to the dishwasher, food preparation, washing salads and rice, and rinsing around the sink bowl and drainer after use.

Variably controlled from the mains pressure cold flow, the Pull-Out Spray boasts a 60cm working range with an auto-retract hose and auto-lock for hands-free operation.
