Contour’s DeepClean and DeepClean Extra ranges offer advanced solutions to the traditional radiator
guard designs that have made internal cleaning challenging, potentially promoting the spread of harmful
bacteria and particles.
DeepClean
The DeepClean range streamlines the cleaning process by allowing a single cleaning operative to easily
access every internal and external surface of the radiator guard, without the need for additional support
from a Facilities or Estates department.
Featuring a full drop-down door that allows complete access for cleaning inside the radiator guard,
ensures high hygiene standards and heating efficiency. The quick-release locks design on the front of
the radiator cover allows the entire door to lower and lay flat on the floor, or be completely removed,
making thorough cleaning possible and effortless.
The BioCote® anti-microbial technology and optional rotarad valve kits provide extra protection,
rendering it the perfect solution for maintaining optimal hygiene control.
DeepClean Extra
Engineered with an anti-ligature design to minimise the risk of self-harm, DeepClean Extra is suitable for
facilities like psychiatric wards and mental health centres.
The IP3X rated grille, with 2mm holes at 4mm centres, prevents items from being passed through the
casing and reduces ligature points while still allowing for ventilation to maximise heat output.
It is also equipped with an array of security fastenings (i.e. Pin Hex and key locks) to ensure simple
access for staff whilst preventing unauthorised access by service users, and a tapered, precision-
engineered, thermostatic radiator valve shroud that inhibits the TRV from being used as an anchor
point.
