Available from Space Air Solutions, the New Daikin Altherma Monobloc, model ref: EBHQ, air to water, inverter, heat pump system for heating and/or hot water, is compact in size (up to 15% less installation space than a contemporary heat pump), is easy to install and has all necessary hydraulic components located within the weather-proofed outdoor unit. Available in 6 and 8kW the system can connect to under floor heating, radiators and towel rails or convector units. The Monobloc can also be supplied with an optional domestic hot water storage cylinder, 200, 250 and 300L, compact enough for installation in a small cupboard together with the control box. Space Air Solutions recently supplied the new Daikin Altherma Monobloc system along with the Space Air pre-fabricated piping kits (designed and manufactured to fully optimise the Daikin Altherma range), to replace existing inefficient direct electric heating for the redevelopment of a number of compact bungalows; the Monobloc system was perfect for the application as internal space was restricted, and the tenants now enjoy much lower heating bills.
