£40m new learning campus specifies miranit sanitary ware
The Taf Ely Learning Campus, Coleg Morgannwg, is due for completion at the start of the new educational year; September 2012 and as its state of the art facilities are available to the local community, Miranit solid surface sanitary ware from Franke Washrooms, has been specified to ensure the washroom experience is in step with the £40m investment.
In its final phase, the new Campus which is being built on the 7.4acre site opposite the existing facility at Heol Yr OIdyn, is enabling the college to advance the model of the Rhondda Campus where facilities are available and used by the community and other public and private sector organisations seven days a week. Building Services company Crown House Technologies specified the washrooms through Cardiff plumbing merchants PTS.
Nigel Shaw, commercial business development manager for PTS says. “Washrooms are an intrinsic part of any building; the one area where people come into direct contact with the workings of a building. Crown House Technologies asked us for products that would deliver style and performance and would last a lifetime too.”
16 Miranit Quadro basins and co-ordinating self-closing taps deliver style, function and savings in water use too. Miranit Quadro basins are part of the solid surface range of sanitary ware that is ideal for commercial and public washrooms. Whilst it is hi-style it is also fracture-resistant unlike ceramic products. Cleaning protocols are made simple with its pore-free, high-gloss Gelcoat finish and it is unaffected by high temperatures and resistant to burning. Full details of the Miranit range are available at www.frank-ws.com. Email. ws-marketing.gb@franke.com for a copy of the new sales catalogue with price pledge or to register for a water CPD.
