Encasement boiler pipe casings chosen for Kent housing development
Boiler installations in one and two bedroom apartments at a major 200 home development in Dover, are being given the finishing touch by using pre-formed and pre-finished boiler casings from Encasement to conceal exposed pipe work.
As the apartments incorporate a compact central heating combi-boiler in the kitchen, the main contractor chose to cover boiler pipe work and valves with Encasement’s one-piece boiler casings manufactured from durable pre-formed plywood.
Each melamine-finished casing fits within the boiler’s standard dimensions and not only hides unsightly pipe work, but also provides an attractive finish to the installation that is simple to remove for access and ongoing maintenance and can be easily wiped clean.
Encasement’s Managing Director, Martin Taylor, explained: “This is typical of the type of projects that we get involved with, especially where boilers are located in kitchens. On this project, the house builder was able to use one of our standard single-piece casings, but for non-standard installations or retrofit projects, we also provide a range of ‘custom’ two-piece casings that allow a high degree of choice to meet the needs of virtually any boiler installation.”
Encasement’s boiler pipe casings are part of the company’s wide a range of pipe boxing and casing solutions.
